Berkeley Scholars - Departing Oakland Airport

The scholars are departing Oakland Airport at 9:40pm (PST). They will arrive at Boston Logan Airport at 5:30am (EST). I will meet the scholars with transportation (train and bus) passes and breakfast. The itinerary for the day is as follows:

7:00 - 9:00am: Check-in at hotels and eat breakfast

10:00 - 1:00pm: Northeastern tour, admission presentation + lunch

1:30 - 2:30pm: School of Museum of Fine Arts tour

4:00 – 5:30pm: Charles River, Boston Boat Tour

After our tour we will eat dinner, have a group meeting and write our daily reflections. I'm sure after all of which the scholars and the staff will be thoroughly tired, so they'll probably go fast to sleep.

Log-on tomorrow to see pictures and hear about the day from the scholars themselves!

    We are so excited to have the Scholars here! (wish the weather would get better!) Can't wait to see my guy, David!

    I am so proud of all the scholars for believing anything is possible. And to the parents for giving them the encouragement to believe.

    To Leandrew for his vision, where would we be without it? So glad that question do not have to be answered. Justin, it seems as if you have settled in. Thanks for taken Leandrew up on the offer.

    To the Mentors and the Tutors, you guys are giving our kids the greatest gift that money could not purchase your time, effort and patience.
